New figurine get! Maomao from the Apothecary Diaries. I've been enjoying the light novels so much that I couldn't resist, and I managed to find a legit seller from Japan rather than having to deal with the million bootleg companies trying to sell cheaply recast knockoffs through amazon. 🥰

Upon returning to No Man's Sky recently I learned you can custom build ships now. Thus my goal became clear, colour co-ordinated fleet of Jeeves ships! (Pictured here, two different designs of fighters and one solar sail ship, pictured both docked and with sails deployed in flight). <3

Breath of the Wild remains gorgeous. I'm not really a "graphics are super important to me" gamer, but I'm actually glad I bought the BOTW Switch 2 edition upgrade. <3

Thinking about Block Breaker games (like Breakout, Arkanoid, etc) reminded me of a PC game I played in 2001-02 at the "Christian Computer Club" that was associated with the church my family made me attend at the time. It was called "Bible Ball" and religious shoehorning aside, it was fun as hell. 🤣

And there it is! As of August 28th, I've successfully completed my 2025 reading goal of 100 books. Originally it was 100 books/manga combined, but now I've read 100 light novels AND 109 volumes of manga so far.
When you find books you actually want to read, every moment spent reading is a true joy.

The FMV cutscenes of Final Fantasy 10 are so pretty, and they still hold up today imo. <3 Of course there's lots of beauty to be found in all sorts of video games from indie games, pixel art, etc all the way up to big studio titles. But FFX's graphics will always hold a special place in my heart.

Going through some old notebooks, I found this character sheet from the first ttrpg session I ever played. A pathfinder one shot on the floor of the common room of St Andrews Uni's Andrew Melville Hall in 2008/09.
Astute viewers will note the fact that I was big into LOST at that time, too. 😆
