My OG cat does the same. That, or she sleeps in baguette mode all stretched out horizontally across the bed 🤣 My other cat sleeps exclusively on her blanket.

Ginger has the biggest purrs I've ever come across in a cat. I adopted her last year as a senior lady, and she is the most diligent little biscuit maker. She purrs up a storm on her* little blanket.
*said blanket used to belong to my other cat, but she ceded ownership to Ginger.
