All of our life is in this current moment, with experience and insight gained from what came in the past.

Elon musk really doesn’t have grounds to stand on commenting on an ai related topic while his bullshit ai-powered illicit porn social site is generating CSAM en-masse without any sort of control or care over it.

He’s probably just sad Tim Apple didn’t consider his horrible, albeit evil product.

Would have preferred Anthropic, but all major AI models are products of evil business practices… so any choice is just as bad tbh.

Trying out this “template implementation (*.tpp)” file type for my C++ program. We’ll see how it goes (as I refactor some ancient code).

Something doesn’t need to be “masculine” for a man (like myself) to take enjoyment in it (though I’d say Labubus are non-gender specific).

After reading this article, it has made me think about a why I've had a more and more negative reaction to this AI fad over the past year or so. I think that is an important question for anyone to ask themselves: why do they feel the way that they do about the issues they are passionate about?

Kinda wish there was a downvote button on this site for all the AI bullshit art.

Happy new year to all the lambda wranglers, beta-reduction freaks and people curious about pure functional programming 💜

A few weeks ago, I upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro (yes, in orange). It’s definitely the best iPhone I’ve ever owned.

Realized this yesterday, but this coming year will be a year without Windows for me (finally). Glad to have left that platform behind with all the BS that MS keeps trying to pull.

Played a lot of Stellaris this evening. It was a great time, lots of fun.

Refactoring a large C++ legacy app is certainly a challenge. There are a bunch of includes that aren’t set right. 🫠🫠

Today has been a process of rapidly re-following accounts that I had previously been following as part of re-setting up.

I’ve had an account on here before and honestly many other platforms, but deleting most of them and resetting has been a refreshing experience.
