In today's PE lesson, year 6 were introduced to another volleyball technique. After learning the set shot in their previous lesson, they worked hard to master the 'dig shot' which is used to defend the ball as it travels low and close to the ground. They are making great progress!🏐

In D&T, year 6 have created their own bags. They began by researching different styles and their purposes. After that, they used specific tools to dismantle a basic bag, then different sewing techniques to stitch them back together. Finally, they designed and created their own. They are amazing!🎒

Reception class were surprised with a picnic on the moon today! We made teddy bear sandwiches and our own teddy bears joined us for the picnic. Just like in the book 'Whatever Next!' by Jill Murphy 🌑🧸🚀

Reception class have had so much fun using the apparatus in P.E. They were able to use their gross motor skills to jump, balance, crawl, roll and move in a variety of different ways.

Today the Reception children were suprised to find a bear, box, colander and a pair of wellies in the classroom! We discussed how they could have got there! Guess what story we are focusing on this half term?🐻🚀
