More internet, more photos of the Tsum Valley. The people here agreed a charter in 1921 and have kept strictly to it ever since, not to kill or eat any living being and to preserve the environment. No roads, patchy electricity only arrived recently, but perhaps ahead of their time #Himalayas

Sometimes the outer world news; the greed, hatred and grasping for power needs switching off for a gentler inner existence. On Monday I am heading on foot for a few weeks to the Tsum Valley on the border with #Tibet on then onto #Manasulu. Pics and thoughts may follow when or if internet exists
