Started a Spellbound Stitches bookmark for #wipwednesday. My math rocks chose Otters in Love by Samantha Lane. I love it.

Say it was done that way on purpose. The mottling color change is what makes it unique. Stitch it again with the same floss and it will still be different.

That’s really cute, and I definitely understand the need to toss in smaller things in during big projects. Is that variegated floss, or just A LOT of color changes?

Will be starting some charity bookmarks soon, but I wanted to do a little more on this first. Felt the need to do a lot of color changes.

Thank you much. The pattern is my own design. It’s called Forest with Bats Silhouette, because I’m bad at names.

Was hoping to have this done by now, but I guess I’ll share it for #wipwednesday. While not complicated, this is a lot of stitching.

Never worked on red before, and am trying to think up other stuff that would look good on it. Have a few ideas.

With the bookmarks I cheat. I searched “cross stitch bookmark fabric” on Amazon and these pre-edged ones popped up. Then I use a tiny 70x75 mm Nurge hoop because I have nothing else to hold something that small.
Fraying is the worst.

You never really grow up. Your toys just get more expensive.
