It is crazy though that most of the non competitive reality TV we watch today can trace its origins back to The OC, because without The OC, we wouldn't have Laguna Beach, & without Laguna Beach we wouldn't have Housewives/RHOC & pretty much every ensemble non-competitive reality show on Bravo ever

Taran's book was good enough to get picked up by a major publisher who produces best-sellers. He self published to mid reviews at best and then proceeded to act like a menace in the community for years. To have so little self awareness must be kind of nice actually.
