It's a track-focused, but road-legal, lightweight supercar (1510kg), that's inspired by the Aston Martin GTE Endurance Racing car. With 446hp/ps (440bhp), 0-100kph takes just 4.4 seconds, while Vmax lies at 305kph. The rear wing is optional, but emphasizes the kind of breed you're dealing with: a track tiger.It is seen here at a private track day event at the Formula 1 circuit of Zandvoort, the Netherlands. Perfect car for the occasion? Pretty much so, right?My verdict?Brand? Aston Martin!✅️Model? Vantage.✅️Exterior colour? Green is good.✅️Lightweight track-focused supercar? YES!✅️Sound check? CHECK!✅️Lucky if you got your hands on the production slot (as its production was limited to only 150 units!). This gentleman acquired this 2017 GT8 and imported it into the Netherlands in 2023. Good choice! In two ways. First, the Vantage GT8 is excellent IMO. A little go-kart racing driver became #MV33, won the Formula 1 World Championship (multiple times), became #MV1, and then chose to get his pal's racing car number, so he became #MV3.Of course, I'm talking about Dutch F1 racing driver Max Verstappen (aka Franz Hermann). Tonight, Red Bull unveils the new 2026 Formula 1 car. Honda became Ford. But Max will be Max.Meanwhile, a new special Red Bull livery has leaked prematurely, as you can see in this reel. Good thing it's leaking, as it's made out of flowers and they could use some water. Bellissima!🇮🇹 This Ferrari Friday, I give you three Ferraris and a Mercedes-AMG SL Roadster.To be specific, these are the Rosso Corsa Ferrari F12berlinetta on the right, the 812 GTS on the left, and the 296 GTB in the background. So, two times a V12 and one V6 plug-in hybrid.Why is this notable? Well, it's Race Week! Even for a particular Formula 1 driver, Dutchman Max Verstappen, because he will be racing the GT3 version of the 296 with his team at the Nürburgring Nordschleife this weekend (Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie 9). Rather special these days, to see an F1 driver race in a different (GT) racing series. Really cool. Therefore, I wanted to post this 296 GTB, to mark Max Verstappen's first appearance in GT racing with the Ferrari 296 GT3.And what else is there to drool over? The bella Ferrari F12berlinetta. Oh my! It has aged so incredibly well. And its sound is heavenly! The 812 GTS was the first open-top V12 iteration that followed in this car class of Ferrari. All you want: its hardtop makes it practical, while driving it rooflessly treats your ears to that fantastic V12 symphony. Wow!Enjoy Ferrari Friday!
