Love reading, learning tech, food and wine. Hate shopping. Sometimes afloat. UK. Crisps: pickled onion monster munch.
Why, just why? 😉

Not my usual sort of read, but does look good. Just put it on hold at the library. Should be ready for my holiday in just over 2 weeks 😊 📚

As my Dad used to say 'it's only a bargain if you needed it anyway, otherwise, it's just spending money'

I hate travelling, it's all so stressful, but being in Portugal for two weeks will be more than worth it.

Nah. Save it all till retirement and hope you live that long. Memo to self: apply for retirement.

I know. It’s great being boring 😊 And reading. I just wish I could take the cat. If I could I may not come back.

Blimey I’m boring. And I’m going to be boring for two weeks in Portugal over Christmas. Reading, drinking coffee/echinacea tea, eating lots of fresh food. And wine in the evening.

Murray: ‘get homes built’ Is that at the cost of wildlife? #bbcqt

Murray: do we believe them? #bbcqt. And working people. What about disabled and pensioners?

I was working away for three days this week, so missed the budget. But the frozen limits doesn’t seem good for most not wealthy people.

Question about growth. Imo if people don’t have money, they can’t spend it.

How does growth make my life better?
November 27, 2025 at 10:54 PM
Johnson: tax payers money. It doesn’t matter. It’s not like a household budget. Why do they do this?
November 27, 2025 at 10:52 PM
Murray. Why cut borrowing? It’s cheap. It benefits people. We did nhs and welfare after WWII, yes we borrowed, but it improved and extended lives for millions.

I did have high hopes. And like you I wanted boring but caring. It really is just about money now, not people. Humans wouldn’t have survived if our ancestors did this. We may not survive much longer. Ok for oldies like me with no children.
