Some future engineers in the making! #STEM

We’ve loved learning about WW2 this term! Today we started exploring the planes of the war and even tried making some of our own. The wind was fighting against us during testing, which led to a great discussion about how the more powerful German engines made such an impact during WW2. ✈️🌬️

PE Session 2 completed at @stmungoshs.bsky.social! 💪 Thanks to Mr Costello and the senior sports leaders for organising and having us, we really enjoyed it. The buzz on the way back across the road was real! “I can’t wait for high school now!” 👏🏼❤️

We used the website Frankenstories for the first time to improve our sentence writing by focusing on accurate punctuation, strong vocabulary, and using similes and alliteration. We wrote and voted anonymously, and we can’t wait to use this tool to support our modeled and shared writing next term!✏️

We had a fantastic time at @stmungoshs.bsky.social for our first PE session with their senior Sports Leaders! It was loads of fun, and great to get a feel for what it’s like moving from period to period each day too. Huge thanks to everyone, we can’t wait for next week! 👏🏼⚽️🏀✨
