I had an incident this morning, 1st one other than just looks and mumbles in more than two years. I am wearing a forest green t-shirt with "Tyre Nichols, 1993-2023" on the front and with "Black Lives Matter"on the back. Same as in photo, but jeans on November 23rd.

The University of Tulsa defeated Army 26-25 today. The photograph is from September 13, when I was there for the Navy game.

I wore Dory Miller yesterday. A man came over to my table at Weeze's Cafe and opened with, "Did you know Dory Miller?" "No sir, he died in 1943." Then we talked very seriously about Miller and what he did at Pearl Harbor. He was very knowledgeable and we had a good conversation.

My Osage grandmother with her husband Paul Cedar when she was probably around 20. Both Osage. My Osage grandmother about age 50. Her color had lightened a lot. My grandmother was married a number of times. Her last husband was Chuck Lessert.

James Michener's book "The World is My Home" influenced me significantly. Zen and Bhuddism have influenced me, and surviving my own life experiences has influenced me. Near death experiences are important influencers.

Charlie and Tiny. Not from the same litter, but absolutely inseparable. Charlie had a seizure and sudden death. Tiny looked for him for two weeks before she accepted that he was no longer there.

Peanuts (tortie) and her partner in crime.
November 19, 2025 at 6:17 AM
I'm going to share photos of the many cats we've had. Peanuts, a tortilla that I rescued from a ditch after her mother abandoned her. Lovely girl, but incredibly mischievous. We had her about 6 years. She was only a few weeks old when I found her.

This was always my mother's favorite photo of me. I discovered it among her personal things at the nursing home after she died. Notice the resemblance to Audie Murphy. I was sometimes called Audie. I discovered that I am a cousin to Audie Murphy.

Yes, of course. Tiny is already gone. I still need to find a home for Pheefee.

I understand. Charlotte and I took care of cats for years.

I'm controversial. Should I worry?

I have one more inside cat. She's difficult to catch and caused my 3 falls today. I can't put her with the SPCA now because they are full. She's 2 years old, not spayed, has had one litter of 4 kittens. Pheefee.

This is my baby I surrendered to the SPCA today because I can't take care of my cats. Charlotte and I have had Tiny 9 years. She was born in our garage in 2016 and spade as soon as possible. We're the only home She has known. I just had to do it for her sake. Of course it was hard.

Here is Dee Smith of Weeze's Cafe with his friend Johnny as "The Blues Brothers." I was the photographer/artist. I photographed them against an ugly wall in Weeze's Cafe and then I created the background.

Yes, especially people like Ron Adams who was the best Santa Claus ever. Ron and I kidded each other hard, too. Every year, I asked, "Where's my pony?" He'd shout back, "You don't deserve a pony!" Guess what I did one year.
