AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.

Bought Kitchen Hymns by Pádraig Ó Tuama & am in awe over this collection. I needed this collection, I've even been completely breaking down the poems as I go & only do that for the collections I end up claiming as an influence on my writing.

Either I've acquired superhuman smelling, or my nose is broken. But holy shit, I've been able to smell *everything* for the past few days.

I'm wondering if more & more news sites will drop pay walls & switch to donation based during the next few years so that more people can access the news.

Lyrics that live in my head rent free:

"I've got a lucky silver dollar / My granddad gave it to me, now he's dead / Times like this I wish that join him / and I'd just stop this pounding in my head."

Those who would break down the barriers between church & state always imagine their own tribe in charge & making the rules for all.

They should imagine the tribe they dislike most having control over their lives.

The 2nd scenario will definitely be someone's reality.

I am really good at should-ing myself. I'm so good at it, I'll should myself about should-ing myself ("I shouldn't be should-ing myself," is a thought I have a lot more than I'd like to admit).

"God, Forgive These Bastards" Songs From The Forgotten Life of Henry Turner by The Taxpayers continues to be one of my favorite albums. I genuinely believe it's brilliant & deserves to be talked about a lot more than what it is.

Maybe it's because it came out my graduating year of high school, but I've always like Neighborhoods by blink-182. I've always thought Wishing Well & Kaleidoscope are two of their best songs.
