YouTube removing the 'Subscriptions' link from the top left menu options - why? Seriously, other than inconveniencing users, what do they hope to gain from it? How is the user's experience bettered by moving it? Tinkering for tinkering's sake, it's pathetic.

LFC 1 PSV 4

Looking more and more like Klopp essentially set everything up for Slot to win the Premiership, especially when the poor end to last season is borne in mind. I was a Slot advocate. Was.

No use just blaming the players, the confidence is gone and that's primarily down to the manager.

Not going to lie, I'm smitten by Channel 4 News' Helia Ebrahimi 🤓. Get her out on the ale and I bet she's a gas*. She's lovely.

*Yes, odds-on Helia's a tea-total vegan but the heart is a strange master. 🥰

Can someone explain how I'm meant to sympathise with people who insist on having more than two kids who are then crying 'poverty'?
Was a gun put to their head?
There's one reason why those kids are in poverty - the parents, having calculated, and then banked on, having benefits as a backup.

Labour: Yeah, we lied about what we said we'd do in our manifesto and on previous occasions regarding taxes - we think it's justified so get over it.

Budget 2025 TL;DR:
Labour fail to raise the £12,570 personal tax limit so, once again, the poorest will end up paying the most in taxes in relation to what they earn not the richest.

Oh, and if you decide to have 3 kids or more and can’t afford it, don’t worry, everyone else will pay for you.

BBC1's consumer investigation programme 'Scam Interceptors' is mute in the background and everyone in their office / base is dressed in black except some middle aged bloke who's wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up and a medical face mask on. I think they call it 'committing to the part'.

Because people *still* don’t understand that overseas students subsidise home students. This is punishing everyone involved.
With Rachel Reeves reportedly set to apply a new tax on tuition fees paid by overseas students, most Britons support such a move at the previously mooted level of 6%

Support: 57%
Oppose: 18%

every single thing hegseth says in public reveals a bottomless pit of insecurity
When you draw a platoon leader like Hegseth, it’s your worst nightmare. You just ride it out until he’s gone and gets replaced by someone who isn’t a complete jackass. Only a fool like Trump would put one of them in charge of the entire defense department.

This is exactly what the recent Trump-BBC 'scandal' was designed to achieve. The BBC is now self-censoring criticisms of Trump in the name of "impartiality"
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1
