Here’s my thread of books I’ve read in 2025:

1) The Stasi Poetry Circle by Philip Oltermann. ‘Stranger than fiction’ is an overused term, but it’s hard to think of a better description. The regime’s attempts to collar free expression with the aid of verse make for a great diversion.
