When's the last time you read the Constitution? Do you have a physical copy?

Visit/print now but more importantly, read it.

If you attend a protest this weekend (or any day), be sure to know your rights before you go:

No, MTV didn't entirely close up shop but all the media attention has made me think what would happen if they rebooted the station and brought back videos with an updated twist? The industry is due for a revolution.

MTV Didn’t Die on New Year’s Eve, Despite Social Media Posts — but the Music Left a Long Time Ago
No, despite any social media posts you may have seen, MTV did not shut down in the U.S. — it's only music channels in the U.K. that were affected.

An interesting article that inspired some, surprisingly cordial, debate in the comments.

I wonder if nostalgia is enough to bring back certain forms of entertainment. We've seen it with vinyl but how well will periodicals do against cell phones?

BTW, if anyone knows of anyone still doing zines, let me know! I feel like that's something that's bound to come back around. Same with comic book ashcans.

I'll always be grateful for Tower Records in Rockville, MD carrying the zine that my posse did for a daunting...5 issues!

The magazine stand used to be my favorite spot to visit, no matter the area. From international magazines and local homemade zines to the weekly Variety and Wizard magazine, there was nothing like flipping the pages and reading some entertaining articles. Now the stands are akin to a ghost town.

Trivial fact: I've purchased every @vanityfair.com Hollywood issue since the first one in 1995. There's something I'll always love about physical media. The articles and photos just come off better.

While I love the 1970 "Jackson 5 Christmas Album," I can't believe Jackson never did a solo Christmas album or duets holiday album after leaving the Jehovah's Witness faith in the early 90s.

As you get older, trying to integrate another social media platform into your daily routine is as awkward as trying to feel for the light switch in a dirty public restroom to turn the lights on.
