I managed a colony of research mice for about 9 years in grad school. I realized today that my multivitamins I eat every day smell EXACTLY the same as their food pellets, and I’m not sure how to feel about it

Brief Family Lore: This is the charred heart of a lilac stump that was almost the death of my Dad. He did the splits pulling it out, got blood clots and had 5 pulmonary embolisms. He’s fine now, and our friends decided to burn the stump and preserve it on a plaque that reads: “Proper’s Revenge”
