It’s finally sweater weather in Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway adventure! My sister Laura is in town and we spent the day hiking atop Mount San Jacinto, where the temperature hovered around 40°. 🥶Patrick had the same adventure with Maisie and Grant in The Guncle, although in summer when it was slightly warmer. 🚠

WHAM! on Netflix is not a perfect documentary — I would have liked more focus on the music and its context within the early 80s musical scene. But what remains is a beautiful portrait of friendship. I miss George Michael always, and Andrew Ridgely is the best friend everyone deserves.

The great Whoopi Goldberg on The Guncle: “It’s one of my favorite books and when I’m in a mood I go back to it because it makes me feel better. This is one of the best books you can read.” I have loved Whoopi since I first saw her in The Color Purple and to know that she is a fan of my work too is 🤯
