A lot of people are very much on the "DOWN WITH TWITCH" train, meanwhile the more down-to-earth, sensible folk want to see some proper restructuring from the top down, because the current leadership is NOT it. They're trying to appeal to a more mainstream audience, when they honestly shouldn't have.

With TwitchCon, personally, I've never understood the appeal. So you get to meet streamer friends. Awesome. You can plan that outside of TC. Twitch clearly demonstrated they don't care *that* much about your safety this year. This year will get swept under the rug, but people generally never forget.

The problem I have with a lot of IRL streaming is that, while it's fine for folks to occasionally show off their real lives every now & then, people have gone too far with IRL. IRL basically became Reality TV on the go. It feels like people do IRL now purely for clout, degeneracy, or to earn a buck.
