Cheers for the heads up Nick. Will check. Are you aware of The KLFRS? Any idea what the deal is with them? Some interesting work on their Bandcamp.

Last overhead kick I saw like that was by Pele in Escape To Victory. Absolutely worldie!

On a tangent… Ruth Copeland’s version of Gimme Shelter could be a gateway for those who don’t know her work into a joyful world of discovery. From Co Durham to George Clinton. Worth checking her great music and, quite frankly, mad career route!

Such a tune! And as we’re doing Neil Young covers track down The Anonymous Choir’s work. Their Neil Young LP is sublime.

(Also, I spotted my ‘your’ error earlier and can only assume auto-correct must’ve done it. Honest guv)

All timer. Have you heard Sylvester’s version of Southern Man? If not, your welcome bro!

I tripped over this… 17 miles into final long training run ahead of the Athens Marathon. Now I miss that, our inevitable win over Man U AND your night at the Social. But I get to go to Athens for one handed digging so…

So good that I managed to clap with a double-fractured elbow sunshine. It was BIG.

Had the same view of this as we had of Son v Burnley… watching them run away from us towards the south, knowing they’d score as soon as they went past halfway. Such a moment. What a goal.

Hopefully in the shops imminently. It’s always a great read IMO.

We’ve always maintained that they’re “good for curlers” - four of us, all played football together in our teens, still insist upon it as absolute fact now, even though we’re in our 50s.

It was good enough for the island in the 80s so 100%… and of course, it lent a title to the favourite summer party of a fair few of us (Waves to @dannykelly.bsky.social )

Also, Jason Boardman squared the circle by playing this at that in the summer.

In summary then: B.A.F.

Hey Nick! Been a while mate. Lovely read. Chill Out had such a lasting impact on so many of us. Timeless.

Ha! Still haunted by my even thinking about taking a photo!

And clashes with Kathy’s birthday so… maybe when it’s the right time. Have a blast bro: Big love from both of us x

See that a few other replies suggested Resident for records. That’s all new stuff and books, and more like a Fopp now; Rarekind is a mix of new and second hand (lots of it, great prices)
