While i was tongue-in-cheek recently saying human thought is not causal, the real issue is what is the right model for humans?

This book is interesting in that regard as due to academic norms in the field Mackey needed to write a whole book arguing Romans really believed their religions.

This Claude.md worked well for my project. I’m assuming Claude code keeps these in prompt cache. If so, that would mean tokens in here are 1/10th the price of other input tokens. I do think i need to try some ad hoc ‘ablations’.

A while back i carefully cut and pasted an ambiguous A or H in ProCreate as a stress case. Hadn’t tried it in a while, o3 seems to handle it.

Didn’t realize how short this was. Reminds me of reading Feynman’s QED book; both side step formal math by using diagrams that impart the intuition behind the ideas.
