IMO Malta PBS knew the game they were playing, knew the risks, and knew it would be burned and be forced to change it. They're not clueless. They've got the publicity they wanted, now they pay the consequences. I'm pretty sure they'll have a backup option ready to go as the performative dust settles

I was brought up on the Bond movies, many a fond memory of watching a random Bond movie with my dear mum. Bond isn’t just a movie, it’s an event, nothing like it at the cinema. These are the greatest films, the greatest film franchise and they should’ve been better protected.

I do not wish to see spin-off movies, TV shows, but I fear as with other things, Bond will now become a gimmick and massively Americanised. That being said, there are new novels that could be turned into movies, the lost film of Timothy Dalton that could finally get made, so not all bad.

I hate to think what could become of the franchise now. Leave the classics alone, I do not wish to see the classic films “reimagined”, I do not want the modern world anywhere near the classics, absolutely categorically NO.

I lost my mum recently so Slovenia I’m connecting with a lot right now. As for Finland, Erika has so much energy and confidence.
