They misinterpreted my comment. I didn't say artists shouldn't earn a living wage. I said they should find other work if they aren't. There's how the world should be, and there's how people should deal with the world as it is.

Like religions, I see political ideologies as contagious mental illnesses. They're lenses we view the world through, and they distort what we see. Better to at least try to see the world directly. Peer review can help, in or out of academia.

38% of the country is insane for not realizing that Trump is a demented grifter. And a roughly equal percent of the country is foolish enough to think Harris would've been a good president. She'd obviously have been better than Trump, but that's the lowest bar in history.
