It takes no time at all to decide that multinationals and the obscenely wealthy should pay their fair share of tax. Money earned in this country should have tax paid in this country. They move their money abroad because they are allowed to. The likes of you and I can't get away with that.

I joined the labour party because of Corbyn. I gave Starmer a chance, but decided I'd had enough a few months ago.

The problem is who is paying for the tax increases. When the tories 'cut' tax, it's always the worst off who pay for it, with increases in indirect taxes like fuel duty and VAT. That is why what labour have done is not really any different from the tories. It affects the poor disproportionately.

It'd be nice to have a PM who realised that people that voted him wanted a big change and didn't just carry on with the failed direction of previous tory PMs.
