Mr. Dixit isn't shy in coming forth - he's an imaginative inventor, a dynamic industrialist, a giver of TED talks, author on the core fundamentals of Physics, devoted spiritual enthusiast, non-profit organiser, & philanthropist. Predatory publisher isn't mentioned, nor is scammer: odd.

Mr. Dixit is also listed on two other companies, revealing him to be a software engineer from Madhya Pradesh. He runs a company called softinator TechLabs in India. Here he is, on their company site, described as a ‘Founding Visionary and MD’ (scammer sounds less trustworthy, I guess).

I searched Companies House for the address listed for London Journal Press. There are 27,452 companies associated with it, many dissolved! 1828 have been incorporated there from Jan-Mar this year alone. Somehow, I don’t think there are tens of thousands of businesses working out of this building!

The website is slick, but as that previous post shows, there's some weird language: "Our journals are available on a subscription basis and have high amplitude flux." eh? Their process chart also claims that after review: 'Minimum Aptitude Flux analysis is rendered.' The AI is a bit confused.

Great Britain Journals Press also falsely claim to associated with the University of Cambridge Trinity College, the British Library, & the National Libraries of Scotland and Wales. They have their logos on the website - naughty.

Goodwin is, without doubt, a racist. He was on Question Time this week as a supporter of Reform. We should take seriously that the mouthpieces of Reform think you have to be white to be British. It’s astonishing that the BBC have repeatedly invited an ethno-nationalist racist onto their QT panel.

Just coming back from London after taking part in an event to imagine a multi-species future, organised by Town Anywhere and The Empathy Project. Really cool.

Saturday: ‘I‘m no King‘. Sunday: ‘I, King Trump, wish to dump shit on those who accuse me of wanting to be king‘. He couldn‘t be more unfit for office if he defecated on the Oval Office desk on live TV. Even if he did that Mike Johnson would make excuses for him.

I cannot help but read this while thinking about Boris Johnson‘s recent interview. The two characters in the stories seem quite similar. The key difference is that Johnson definitely isn‘t a good boy.

That Midlands ‘rough and tumble’ Jenrick describes included a riot between Blues and Leeds hooligans in 1985 that saw 500 people injured & a 15-year-old boy killed. Jenrick continues to be a twat.

Final day of picketing (for now) over the university's plans for mass redundancies and course closures. We're being serenaded by the Red Leicester socialist choir, who have a mix of rousing hymns and unkind songs about management.

Boy Four asked what an artichoke looks like, so he's gaining important life skills. He also had many questions about maths, computer programming, & philosophy while we cooked, so we chatted arrays in Python, metaphysics, & epistemology. He's been sent to his room with books on logic & set theory.

We've been joined by a striking lion and leopard, who also happen to be excellent historians.

Geology are threatened by redundancies so they've brought rocks to the picket line today. Also, a dinosaur.

Big turnout of staff and students for day ten of our strike. We've forced management to negotiate for the first time since July.

More politicians who don’t value education unless it makes them rich. Why do we have to endure this recycled ‘rip-off degrees’ narrative every single year? It’s as lazy as it is wrongheaded, but this time it comes with an added dash authoritarian paternalism. inews.co.uk/news/politic...

I almost didn’t repost this because I convinced myself not even Matt Goodwin would be that awful. Thanks to Nitter, I can see that he actually is. The right get more confident & comfortable being openly bigoted every day.

Just leaving this here, showing that educating overseas students is the only university activity that doesn‘t cost more to deliver than it brings in. Maintenance grants are very welcome, but the source of funding for them is not. They‘re making a broken funding model even more broken.
