I'm fond of this clicker question I wrote a few years ago about deleting branches in git.

Chesscom changed their puzzle ratings. support.chess.com/en/articles/... This is probably a good thing. But boy was this surprising to discover.

Here’s a photo of the unfinished map. Not living in the city, it took me many years to finish. I didn’t realize they were going to put my name on the wall.

I apparently have a plaque in a bar in a city I haven’t lived in for 20 years. The reward for finishing a rum map, apparently in 2019.

First time cleaning a gear train. I have high hopes this will fix my problem.*

* I have no such hope. Every other cleaning/part replacing has failed. But I’ve got nothing to lose if I screw it up.

This was discovered when my wife asked me why I had been looking at gas valves so we hit back in Firefox

Phone charging. Europlug to NEMA 1-15 (ungrounded US plug type A) to USB-C to USB-A to USB micro B to Lightning. I’m almost surprised this works except there’s really no reason it wouldn’t. The AC to DC works with 240 VAC 50 Hz and everything else is just direct pin-to-pin wiring.
