Rickey Henderson might have played with him at one point.

Like Pete LaCock's dad used to say on Hollywood Squares: "Not the move you could make, but this may work out ..." (or something like that)

Don't touch that Daal!

Let's hope it's close and the managers have to make multiple moves that we get to second-guess all offseason.

I also hope it's close so we can focus on this game and don't have to revisit what happened in the ninth inning of Game 6.

The Dodgers have an easier pitching path. Ohtani for whatever he can give them. If he needs a reliever to get him out of an inning, then Sheehan/Wrobleski early. Followed by Glasnow for multiple innings. Sasaki for an inning. Snell to face Barger/Varsho before or after. Yamamoto to close.

The Jays have the lefty relievers to counter the big lefty bats for LA. Ohtani, Freeman and Muncy are hitting in the 1-3-5 slots. Schneider can roll out a new lefty every time they come up after the first time through. I'd expect him to do that.

Scherzer > Fluharty > Yesavage > Little > Hoffman >

Max Scherzer has been one of my favorite players to cover. But my greatest fear is that he'll give up some runs early and the Dodgers just go wire-to-wire for like a 6-2 win.

John Schneider has to have a quick hook -- and Max may not make it through more than one time through the order.
