I should have clarified; in this problem, the motion was all either north-south or vertical. On this topic, it seems I have not helped their thought processes.

I have one who gave an angle as a certain number of degrees "west of down" and I realize I need to tackle this differently and more directly at the beginning of the semester.

Plus, of course, anything you didn't create yourself but you gave your students access to. They throw it all into the AI.

I recognize that some do it in a sincere desire to have the AI help them create study material and practice problems. The reasons vary, but the result is the same.
