There is a large banner which says “March for Humanity. Free Gaza” Palestine Action Group.” There are people gathered covering the entire length of the bridge. Many people are wearing Keffiyehs, a traditional Middle Eastern headdress, typically a square cloth, often made of cotton, that is worn by people in arid regions to protect from sun, dust, and sand. It's commonly found in the Levant (including Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon) and other parts of the Middle East, where it's known by various regional names like shemagh or ghutra. Beyond its practical uses, the keffiyeh has become a powerful cultural and political symbol, particularly associated with Palestinian identity and resistance. The March, organised by the Palestine Action Group was banned by the Zionist premier of NSW Christopher John Minns, who was humiliated publicly by the Supreme Court who allowed the march to go ahead. The Police Force NSW also tried their hardest to stop the March, even closing the Harbour Bridge during the March. This protest focused on a variety of issues related to the conflict, including demands for a ceasefire, an end to the Israeli blockade, occupation and genocide, protesting IDF war crimes, ending Australian support for Israel military and providing humanitarian aid to Gaza. The Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong were both mocked and derided constantly during the March for their inaction & doing nothing but show unbridled support for Tel Aviv in its extermination drive, and they’re both lied about arms to Israel.

It originated as the name of the committee responsible for organizing events during the original National Aborigines Day, and has since evolved to represent the week-long celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history. NAIDOC Week is held annually in the first week of July and is a time to recognize and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The event has a long history, dating back to the 1920s and the fight for better living conditions and rights for Indigenous Australians. The committee was initially known as NADOC (National Aborigines Day Observance Committee) and later expanded to include Torres Strait Islanders, becoming NAIDOC
