This is a 7 Panel comic
1: Blade, Pam and Bic are balling over on the court, Bic holds the basketball in his hands, whilst Blade and Pam are on the offense, announcing: “Now’s my big chance…” he’s gonna go for it!
2: Bic shoots for the hoop!
3: It completely misses the shot, stunning the other two.
4: Blade simply states “Bic, you suck.” annoyedly. Pam looks more disappointed tho, uttering “ptooie” (like, a spitting onomatopoeia) whilst looking down.
5: It then cuts to Leo, standing in a field staring off into space. Bic though is still BICkering offscreen, shouting: “Well SORRY I’m not a sports cadet!”
6: The ball from earlier gets stuck on Leo’s spiky hair.
7: The three lads walk over to retrieve their ball, while Blade says “Leo! If you wanted to play, you shoulda just said so!”. Leo flatly responds “No thanks, I’m not really into sports anymore.

1: Ee-yikes! A scary beast is looming over our scared bread friend, ready to attack with its gritty claws braced for the feast... "It seems POLY found his next meal..." the panel is captioned.
2: "BWAHHHH!" Poly offers the bread a JUMPSCARE, he looks about ready to pounce, oh no!
3: Suddenly, he then pulls our bread buddy into a tight hug, exclaiming: "I'm just kiddin, I'd NEVER hurt you!"
4: As it turns out, famed actor in various slasher flicks, Johnny, is standing right behind them both. Disappointedly, he says "Dude, I swear you had like, a 3-panel head start."... whilst holding a literal cleaver and dawning a mask with a creepy smile.

1: Blake here eagerly approaches his pal Timbi, holding a whirling pinwheel. He says “Check this out man, if we can make like a mega pinwheel we’d get like, uber rich, it’s like, infinite energy.”. Amidst his little ramble Timbi utters his name, not wanting to interrupt. “..Blake?”
2: Timbi points up at the wind turbines in the distance. “They did that, like years ago.”. Blake’s excitement quickly vanishes.
3: It cuts to the two sitting on a dock. Blake’s a bit bumbed out about not being the first to have an idea. “I hate being born in the generation where everyone’s already done everything.” he mutters. Timbi attempts to cheer him up by saying, “You were up to something by adding color!”

As Swap reads the newspaper, her attention is caught by Flick, who wanders into the scene.
Flick is one of the world's most celebrated lavender-colored bird, and YET, is notably blue today.
Swap yells, "Why are you BLUE!?"
Flick, without an ounce of worry, looks down at her wings. With a shrug, she responds "I 'unno (don't know)."

5 panel comic..
1: After the sun has set, Rose hops and skips her way into the Breadhunter's Clubhouse, a funnily complex name for a simple treehouse.
2: She tentatively enters the door and looks around the dark room...
3: Her three friends, Blake, Timbi and Poly come out with a JUMPSCARE! All shouting: "HI ROSE!!" as she throws up her book in fear...
4: It barrels to the ground and makes impact with a loud SLAM!
5: It then cuts to a library... aswell as who must be the mysterious librarian that looks suspiciously like the book. This mystery girl utters "Drats, I've got a headache..."

1. Maria calls up the treehouse, "Blake! Dinner is ready, come down!"
2. Instead of her boy, a puppet drops onto the ground instead... totally convincing
3. "It didn't work, we need to up the realism." Blake says in animosity. "Oh, don't worry, I've got a whole pipeline full 'a puppets!" Poly chirps back.
4. Maria can play games too, though. "Well, 'Blake'.. let's go home and eat, then you can have all the sweets you like... and you can also stay up all night... all week." She says whilst carrying this puppet away... Blake screams NO as he's cut off.

Puppy Love - Pages 23-26

Page 23 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals.

An environmental shot of the past. A dirty urban environment is shown, with rain splattering across cold concrete. A thick, gloomy, gray atmosphere is present, clashing against the comic’s typical colorful nature.

A second shot is shown, this time looking up at the roofs of tall brick buildings. Birds scatter about past telephone lines while shouting is heard in the distance, although no words are present.

A bright panel flashes forth, with the silhouettes of who characters clashing. One silhouette is of a larger frame, pushing the shorter one off of the steps of a doorway.

The frame pulls out, to reveal a younger, shyer Kip lying on the ground, sopping wet after having been pushed out from the door. They lie in front of a dumpster, looking hurt and fragile as a vivid white light spills over them from behind the camera.

The door slams shut, leaving Kip alone in the pouring rain.

Four panels are displayed back to back, showing the progression of Kip’s expressions. They initially stare in shock and disbelief, heavy bags under their eyes. They hold their mouth trying to keep themself together, before collapsing into a quiet sob and folding in on themself. Moments after though, the rain begins to let up on top of them and a gentle reflected yellow light illuminates their left side. They lift their head is surprise.

When they turn to their left, they’re met with a young Mason in a bright yellow rain poncho, holding an umbrella over their head. A spotlight seems to shine on them as Mason speaks, “It’s cold out.”

Narration continues the scene, “It’s that same look… from when I first met them.”

Kip looks up at Mason, their face lighting up both literally and metaphorically. They stand in stunned silence.

Mason stares back down, with a flat, cold expression. Despite this, they continue their kind gesture and motion for Kip to take the umbrella. The scene pulls out to show the two characters alone in the pouring rain, sharing in this moment of humanity together as Kip gingerly takes the umbrella.

Mason’s boots splash in the water as they begin to walk away wordlessly. Kip scrambles to their feet shouting after her. “Ah! Um- wait, please! Let me thank you!”

Kip scurries after Mason, although Mason continues to look forward, not responding to Kip. They stutter, “It was really kind of you to do that! You really didn’t need to…!”

The narration retorts over the next series of panels, “I had no interest in talking. I really thought I had everything figured out. My whole life laid out ahead of me. I got a good job offer straight out of university. Moved out of town for work. Paid for a studio apartment.” A graduation cap and book accompany the narration.

Meanwhile, Kip continues to try to speak at Mason, with their speech bubbles being blocked by the characters and narration. They mention moving and having a place to stay in the midst of their frantic appreciation for Mason’s act of kindness.

The narration concludes, “I had no friends or family around, and I didn’t need them. I was content living as I was. Day in, day out.”

Kip finally calls out, “Um, my name’s Kip, by the way! And you… um…” They begin to trail off as Mason continues to walk off without them.

Kip stops in their tracks. “Right, sorry,” before turning around to start walking the other way. “Well, thank you again. I’ll be on my way–”

Their text abruptly ends.

i believe in the future ill try to experiment with thicker lines👀for both lineart and lettering.. i think getting to watch something evolve over time is part of the fun
