on the one hand, people saying "wow 2024 has been such a wild year" is cliché and annoying, BUT on the other hand it's okay when I do it soooo wow 2024 has been such a wild year

I keep forgetting that this is a place for me to put thoughts, so HERE ARE A FEW RECENT ONES:

- Astro Bot deserved the GOTY win
- Alcohol slushies are my new #1 enemy
- Moving a massive bookshelf on your own is HARD but I DID IT and more people should congratulate me (I have so many bruises)

The Australian video game journalism piece is important and covers a lot of necessary ground, but if I’m being candid, as one of the few very lucky people to still be employed and trying to keep it alive every day, often these articles make it feel like more of an uphill battle.
