Recovering Engineer. Failed at retirement, returned to the workplace.

Motorbike travel on occasion, less than I'd like.

South West UK.
It's ok, all of the companies using AI to replace workers are happy to pay a far higher tax rate to fund the UBI needed for the displaced workers.

Aren't they?

Need money for the defence against Trump's claim...

C) vote the wrong way ...

His cars are driven by cunts as well...
February 11, 2026 at 10:36 PM
Yes, let's go back to journalist PMs.
February 8, 2026 at 2:21 PM
Plenty of escape if the media ignore it (or minimally report)... As they have to date.

It's almost as if the media wants a reform government.

If I'm getting a socket and I'm worried about it slipping and rounding the bolt off, I always get a six point or flank drive socket rather than a twelve point.

Twelve point sockets are convenient but I've often had them slip.

Anyone in a professional role has surely been briefed about the use of email? Never commit to writing something you wouldn't want to see in a newspaper.

Utterly unbelievable.

51st state of the USA? Does that qualify as a proper brexit?

It's a problem when politics is a profession rather than a vocation.

If your income relies on being an MP then I can understand why principles bend. Not that I forgive it.

The ones where farage puts his false teeth in a fruit bowl along with the car keys?
January 27, 2026 at 1:43 PM
It's strange when your children are suddenly older than you.
January 27, 2026 at 8:04 AM
Well, here's hoping. Maybe Farage's lack of appetite save us from a reform government...
January 26, 2026 at 12:59 PM
Absolutely, if we are going to engage in fantasy I'd like penguins and snow please.
January 26, 2026 at 12:52 PM
I do wonder if Farage wants to be PM.

Being the outsider, getting all the attention (and lots of money) with no real deliverables is probably a far more appealing prospect than actually being responsible for the country and having to do the work and be held accountable.
January 26, 2026 at 12:49 PM
But this is London. Surely there are penguins, and lots of snow, in London?
January 26, 2026 at 12:45 PM
I really prefer it when things are released once a week or so, it gives you time to think and absorb rather than binge.
January 25, 2026 at 8:44 PM
I presume Rockall's invitation stands though?
January 23, 2026 at 12:58 PM
Another thing the electorate needs to be reminded of during the campaign for the next general election.
January 23, 2026 at 12:21 PM
Not true. I don't think Belarus has proposed joining the EU...
January 22, 2026 at 12:51 PM
Actually...

It's harder to hold a child responsible for their parent than the parent for their child.

What was it in Kruger's upbringing that resulted in such a horror-show of a person being formed?
January 22, 2026 at 12:15 PM
They agreed on Brexit for one. I think they mostly disagree on assisted dying.

As to Lawson, well good point.
January 22, 2026 at 12:11 PM
Given that Prue Leith is Danny Kruger's mother I'm over the fucking moon.
