Was playing a Pokemon HeartGold rom hack last night and was really enjoying it up until I came across a trainer with a level 56 Sandlash not ten minutes into the game. My level 7 Cyndaquil did not stand a chance and am now looking for a new rom hack to check out.

My latest retro gaming obsession is trying to find a PS Vita for under $150 so I can turn that into a dedicated gaming device but that is proving to be damn near impossible.

My favorite part of retro game emulation is when you finally setup your device exactly how you want it with all your games and just sit there with an inability to decide on what to play.

My daughter just threw a foam Captain America shield from across the room and drilled me in the face. These are the crossroads of parenting because the natural instinct is to ground her but on the other hand, that was a hell of a throw and I couldn't be more proud.

I respect and understand that money may be tight for some people and not everyone can afford wireless headphones (especially right now), but there is NO excuse to be playing music on your phone at full volume out in public.

I had to reset the router because I forgot the actual password to the device, so I spent my break time today resetting all our smart plugs and smart lights and reconfiguring everything.

Desperately itching to purchase another retro gaming handheld even though the Odin 2 does nearly everything I want it to do (and then some). Might wait until there's a more affordable handheld PC with Windows on it before pulling the trigger.

I felt bad for laughing but it was kind of funny seeing two kids playing Pokémon in the park only for one of the kids to drill his friend in between the eyes with a plastic Pokéball.
