Since joining Bluesky earlier in the week I have come to suspect this whole thing is just an elaborate marketing campaign for a new Kendrick Lamar album

My Twitter/X account had 11k followers. I gave it to my employer because I was concerned that if I pressed deactivate I might be able/tempted to bring it back.

Every morning, I reverse my Volvo out of my driveway and the camera won’t turn off long enough for me to call and open my gate. Every morning I think “I wouldn’t get another Volvo”.

But then Volvo puts out this film and I remember why I bought it. That’s what ads can do youtu.be/cQX-QXxwGvA?...

Really enjoyable book. Great to read about how and why Bluesky was founded and how Dorsey and co are no longer involved.
