Been around the block, retired from education, sort of, not retired from life. Now got time for watercolour painting, riding my bike, and playing blues, though not all at the same time.
Been glory hunting with Liverpool since Shankly’s days
The Anglo Saxons thought that they could buy off the Danes. Chamberlain thought he could buy off the Nazis with the Munich agreement.
Such pity that neither their Early Medieval or Modern European History departments were not asked for input.

“Freedom to fail” or learning by “trial and improvement“ are very much underrated strategies, outside of EYS

Sowing division and hatred in society so that they can make money without anyone looking closely at their affairs.

Given that electronic hire scooters and bikes get slung in the Mersey on a regular basis, usually by drunken students, I reckon these will end up in the same place, once their contents have been liberated.

Include the hostile environment in that list. Ed Davey may try to appear as a reasonable chap, but he has never really addressed the legacy his party left this country. They could have ended the coalition at any point, but were too happy with the trappings of power.

Sacrificed on the altar of machine gun ownership, with the NRA high priests facilitating

I’m suprised that they didn’t suggest yet another cross rail for London as a solution.

“Blessed are the poor because they will have a zero hours contract.
Blessed are the sick for we can monetise their suffering.
Blessed be the uneducated for they will believe they are better off voting Tory“

You may jest.
Conservatives don’t have friends only contacts, as for family they see them as financially dependent contacts. They don’t even like their own kids, hence they aspire to send them to boarding school

As a kid, I was always bemused when Val Singleton on Blue Peter started talking about caring for your pony.
The only equine connection anyone had at my school was a ride on a seaside donkey. I was stunned when I found out that some kids actually owned a horse.

She will combust when she realises that Jesus was in favour of free health care for all, including foreigners like Roman Centurians, feeding the poor, and paying taxes.

Never forget, Ed Davey is the leader of the Lib Dems
They as a party held the Tories hands whilst they enacted the performative cruelty of Austerity in the form of PIP assessments and ’Hostile Environment’. Their joint policies are responsible for the mess Labour is trying to clear up

How many “Lords” are connected to big business who want workers to have no rights?

I hate the fact that Amazon etc don’t pay fair taxes, despite using our roads and infrastructur, that ordinary PAYE taxpayers have funded. And of course these firms all want kids who are “ready for work” but won’t contribute to the taxes that pay for the schools
