Wildfires have been burning in the region surrounding Kenora due to heat and strong winds.
Today, it's snowing.

Spotted between Manitoulin Island and Sault Ste. Marie today (I was not ready with the camera, hence the very zoomed in shot through the back window)

Quite possible that Australia's Dickson has pulled the same thing Canada's Carleton did earlier this week: defeating an opposition leader in their own seat. #auspol #cdnpoli

Before CN Tower stair climb/after CN Tower climb. Observation deck was surrounded by cloud when I arrived, but it didn't matter. Big proponent of escalators and lifts now.

You know it's going well when ads for hotels in Florida targeting Canadians in late winter have mostly laugh or angry reactions, and the advertiser has turned the comments off.

GrogWatch addendum:

A note at the bottom of BC Liquor's website says some U.S. products are currently unavailable. British Columbia is stopping the sale of alcohol from Republican-controlled states.

There is now a note on the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation's website that it'll stop selling U.S. products.

PEI, Quebec and Manitoba have done the same, but there's nothing on their homepages at the moment.

Here are a couple of shopfronts in Ottawa, the pics taken between the February tariff backdown and the implementation this morning. Canadians are angry, and are taking more action than just booing the U.S. anthem at hockey games.
