Here’s the thing: Even if you don’t care about others, slashing Medicaid isn’t just cruel—it’s bad economics. ER visits cost 3x more than primary care. Untreated chronic illness means higher taxes, strained hospitals, and pricier insurance for all. This isn’t ideology, it’s math.
