Maybe “postal desert”? Our addresses do not qualify for scheduled pickup of parcels either, so there is no alternative except private parcel companies. It doesn’t seem like we should have to go multiple miles in a city center to use the post office.

This reminds me, when did CTA switch from “riders” to “customers” in their lexicon? I am on a blue line train right now and seeing only “customers” in the PSAs and hearing same in overhead announcements. I would prefer to be a “rider” instead of just a “wallet on legs” personally.
