Year 12 researchers are currently working on genome sequencing Narcissis & Dutch Master daffodil varieties & had a full day of DNA extraction & gel electrophoresis. A lot of failed attempts before success.

Top 3 for sponsorship and marketing and Team Identity out of 22 schools! Not a bad start to our F1 journey. The goal is to this a sustainable competition with teams in each class in the next few years. The skills gained are 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Why I love teaching… this S got a 5 in B/C in a mock and said it was a pointless subject to improve on as drama was their passion. I said just because you don’t want a career in something doesn’t mean you don’t work hard in it. Grade 9 at GCSE. I love teaching multiple sciences!
