Swarmidge is based on the clouds of non-biting midges that emerge in massive clouds from the Icelandic lake Mývatn. Gnaterminus is inspired by FFXIV's Beasts of the Final Days and its body plan is meant to loosely evoke the structure of an insect's head, as well as a skull and a spine.

Last for now - Swarmidge (Bug) and Gnaterminus (Bug/Dark), Norrvalo's "Magikarp analogue" that goes from a non-biting midge to a VERY BITING MIDGE.
Swarmidge and Gnaterminus, fanmade Pokémon from the equally fanmade Norrvalo region. Swarmidge is a midge-like Pokémon with feather-like antennae and six legs, the first two of which are held above its head. it is primarily black in colour with white stripes on its legs and its abdomen. Gnaterminus, is a large monstrous insect, primarily dark grey and red, resembling a cross between a mosquito and your worst nightmare. Its body is stylized to evoke a skull, with its middle pair of limbs being raptorial limbs with spikes that interlock with spikes on the underside of its thorax, forming gnashing teeth, its abdomen resembling a spinal column with multiple 'vertebrae' terminating in a 'tail' of reddish tendrils, and eye-spots on its wings, halteres and strange structures projecting from the top of its thorax. the back of its thorax and the lower segments of its legs are covered in thick setae.

Levinome and Arbithunder, fanmade Pokémon from the equally-fanmade Norrvalo region. Levinome is a small dwarflike creature with bark-like skin, a thick bushy beard of moss and lichen, a long mane of red-flowering stalks resembling sheep's sorrel, and 'sleeves' and a 'hat' resembling purple harebell flowers, with their anthers serving as 'fingers'. Levinome is a treant-like creature evoking the form of a tree split by lightning which has partially recovered and regrown. It also has a long beard of moss and lichen, four root-like legs and two branch like arms - one featuring lightnign damage and stunted growth while the other twines around a large wooden staff resembling a hammer. it has shelf mushrooms and moss growing on its body, and wooden 'horns - one stunted and bearing red leaves like the stunted arm, and one grown into a tree bearing red berries.

Another line native to Norrvalo, "ecologically similar" to the Ralts line but biologically unrelated. They are Valts, Valkyrlia, Valkyroir (Fighting/Flying) and Vallade (Fighting/Dragon). As with the previous post, further details in thread.
Fanmade Pokémon from the equally fanmade Norrvalo region, ecologically similar to the Ralts line but biologically unrelated. Valts, the Hatchling Pokémon is a pale, fluffy, vaguely chick-like creature with a helmet-like casque with two green spikes protruding from its top, and some green flight feathers attached to its arm-like wings. Valkyrlia, the Twirling Pokémon, has a childlike humanoid frame with a pale feathery 'dress' and green wings. Its casque is more elaborate, it has two small braid-like structures emerging from the back of its head, and its legs taper into black-scaled points. Valkyroir, the Vortex Pokémon, is an elegant humanoid creature resembling something of a mix between a typical portrayal of a Valkyrie and a harpy, with multiple wings and wing-like structures forming its armor-dress wing-like structures projecting from its helmeted head like 'ears' and the two spikes that its pre-evolved forms had also taking a wing-like shape. The braids from its previous form are now much longer. Vallade, the Diving Pokémon, has the appearance of a lightly armored warrior (modeled after a Final Fantasy-style Dragoon), with a large black spike on its helmt-shaped casque and black scales and scutes on its arms, legs, and the tip of its long, singular braid, almost giving the impression of a dragon tail. Though it does have small curved blades projecting from its elbow (continuing the line of feathers on its arm), it wields an energy-construct resembling a spear shaped loosely like a dragon.

Regional variants of Misdreavus and Mismagius from the Norrvalo region. They are Ghost/Psychic types, with Misdreavus having the Trace ability and Mismagius having the unique Divination ability. Additional details in thread.
Regional variants of Misdreavus and Mismagius from the fan-made Norrvalo region. Misdreavus (Norrvalo Form) is a blue ghost loosely resembling a woman's head with long 'hair, fading to a pale blue at its wispy tips. It has a necklace of white pearls on its 'neck', and another white pearl embedded in its forehead like a third eye. Mismagius (Norrvalo Form) is a ghost resembling a witch (with elements of its design taking after common design elements of Final Fantasy XIV's Astrologian job), with a predominantly dark blue body that has a faint night sky pattern, with pale blue, wispy trims to its 'robe', 'hat' and the trendrils that make up its arms, and multiple markings and embellishments resembling the moon and the sun in gold and pearl tones. An orrery-like construct of light hovers above one of its arms, while three card-like constructs float below its body.

Generation 5-style pixel art of Levinome and Arbithunder, a fanmade Pokémon line. Levinome is a gnome-like creature, with a 'hat' and 'sleeves' resembling purple harebell flowers, brown bark-like skin, a thick beard and moustache of lichen, green fading into yellow at the tips, leafy ears, and long red 'hair' made of springs of sheep sorrel. Its eyes are closed. Arbithunder, its evolved form, is a treant-like creature with four root-like legs, resembling a tree split apart by lightning that has since regrown - its brownish bark shows signs of charring in various locations. Alongside with the impressive moss-and-lichen beard it kept from its previous stage, it has moss growths and fungal 'shelves' on its body. One of arm-like branches appears to wields a gnarled wooden hammer-like staff, while the other appears to be stunted. It has two 'horns' - one growing into a small tree with bright red berries, and another stunted. small red leaves grow out of the stunted arm and horn and from the top of the hammer. Its eyes are open and glowing, and it appears to have electrical energy crackling in a hollow on the top of its head. Levinome's Shiny version has red petals rather than purple, purplish 'hair' rather than red, more greenish bark and its lichen-beard is white, fading to something of a purpleish hue. Arbithunder has dark grey bark, its hammer and the darker patches on its bark are deep red, its lichen beard, moss growth and foliage are white and fade to purple, and its berries and leaves have a golden colour.

A gen-8 menu-sprite style thing I did opened the floodgates to a pixel art spree in the last few days – So here's Wisprite, Wispear and Wisteriark, "pseudo-legendary" line of the Miato region. Hopefully Bsky doesn't mangle them too badly.

Generation 5-style pixel art of Wisprite, Wispear and Wisteriark, a fanmade Pokémon line. They are forest green anthropomorphic or semi-anthropomorphic dinosaur or dragon-like creatures with leaves and various bluish-purple crystals growing on their bodies, fairy-like or insect-like wings made of broad leaves on crystal stalks, and purple wisteria racemes growing from their heads. Wisprite is small and fairy-like, with one prominent pair of wings, two wisteria 'antennae' and long vines tipped with leaves trailing from the base of its tail like butterfly swallow tails. Wispear is larger and more dinosaur-like, with two pairs of prominent wings and a single wisteria 'braid', and the previous form's vines growing thornier and poised to lash out and strike. Wisteriark is the largest, with three pairs of wings, a flowing wisteria mane and numerous crystalline blades on its arms and tail, the vines coiled around the tail in a double helix pattern. In their shiny forms, their body is a greyish-brown , their crystals are golden and the wisteria elements are white instead of purple. A Generation 8-styles menu sprite for Wisteriark is also included.

Been a bit busy lately, but here's a token I made for my latest D&D character, Samsara.

She's a Yuan-ti swarmkeeper ranger, and her swarm spirits (not portrayed) can be vaguely described as some kind of Off-Brand Zygarde Cells. (Ayy snakey lady [off- off- off- off- off-brand Zygarde cells!)
A circular token bearing the face of a Yuan-ti pureblood woman, bearing traits of snakes including patches of thorn-like scales resembling those of the spiny bush viper (Atheris hispida), the sharp and longish nose and the horizontal/keyhole-pupiled eyes of asian vine snakes (Ahaetulla sp.), the eyebrow "horns" of a horned viper (Cerastes cerastes) and a cobra-like hood for external ears. The scales on her skin vary in colour and texture, and she has short black hair in a pixie cut.

More old art, there's a story behind why this exists, it is too long for a single post, I put it in the alt text.
There was a confused period of time around the release of Pokémon Movie 16, when what we now know as Mega Mewtwo Y was revealed – but Mega Evolution wasn't yet, and we had no clue what this weirdo with a convenient carrying handle fused to its skull was and why is its tail attached to its head like some kind of fashionable ass-hat. But somehow the name "Éclair Forme" (presumably in the context of the French word for lightning rather than the pastry) took hold in the fandom briefly (competing with "Awakened Forme") due to some bogus leak or another, and the mental image of the new daft form of Mewtwo electromanipulating an Éclair and looking disgruntled about it just drew itself, honestly.

Because somewhere out there in Galar there had to be some breeder who attempted to bash Mareep into Wooloo stock to breed 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒾𝓂𝒶𝓉𝑒 𝓈𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓅.
Some kind of a Wooloo-Mareep Hybrid. It seems very pleased with itself.
