Another Japanese experiment; I tried my hand at onigiri!

They aren’t perfect and I definitely made some creative liberties, but they don’t taste bad.

Round two and it came out so much better! More eggs were needed for my portion size and held its shape much better.

Very happy with it and may try to do this more in the future for funsies.

I tried making omurice tonight!

Still have more chicken rice mix to I’ll try again in the morning but as you can see a second attempt can really make a difference.

I've always been fairly simple when it comes to putting feelings into words.

Yeah, I can tell why this is held in such high regard.
