The ravenous nature of people to consume fabricated drama, fake enthusiasm, and sensationalized stories will be only be a crutch for progress. Everyone hates "being bored" because they don't know how to find joy in life, so they gravitate to strife and conflict for entertainment. Grow up.

I think I figured out the main problem with a lot of our space-based science... it's all based on building stuff on Earth. Who gives a flip about room temp superconductors, space is already 2,700 K which is fine for ANY superconductor. We're doing things wrong.

So, my 3 middles toes on my left foot hurt like they got smashed by something, but weren't... gave them all a hard pull and all the pain went away and I think I might have fixed my foot a bit. I think they may have all been a bit hyperextended, weird.

The more I watch What We Do in the Shadows, the more I just want to give Kristen Schall a hug. I know the difference between actors and roles, but it's like the same thing I feel for the Culkins... I'd just immediately give a hug to these folks, just feels necessary, unless they refuse. Cool too.

Wait, didn't Marvel replace Terry Howard with Don Cheadle? Nobody even blinked an eye when that happened... why couldn't they just recast Kang? I'm thinking the problem wasn't really with Majors, it was with a villain that was too convoluted and Marvel skipped the recast and moved on. QED

As addendum to my last, grinchy, post... I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Spent Xmas with a couple of amazing dogs and my family that feeds them, and a super-fluffy puppy that I know shows a kind side of my family, since we all cuddled that little pup today! Xmas pups are the best!

I know "content creators" love to use dogs or other pets to get the "awww" factor in their videos, totally understandable and I'm a sucker that gladly watches for it. That being said... having a pet in your video that is obviously hates you isn't going to get those likes and subs, folks.

I randomly flipped on to "Big" while watching TV, rewatched for a while and damnit, something had been nagging at the back of my mind and it finally clicked. Millie Bobby Brown looks, right now, EXACTLY like Elizabeth Perkins in "Big" from 1988. I can't unsee it anymore.

46 years in, and I think I've finally found a current religion I can follow (well, practice a bit) which will give me some modicum of fulfillment. Shintoism. The idea of things important to you being the gods of your existence seems like it works for just about everyone. The Sun is also good!
