I do the same now, but sometimes it's nice to have an idea of what stuff I have on the drives, especially for the anime folder because that's just a huge dumping ground for torrents of all sorts

I decided to install some more stuff on the raspberry pi, now it's running Jellyfin (with transcoding disabled) and then Shoko to organize my animés. It's been chugging along since this morning. I could really use a hardware upgrade but RAM shortage says no.

yeah I did the same for my desktop like a year ago and I'm really glad I did it then. I hope the fucking bubble bursts soon

Ape Escape 1 on the other hand was like a showcase of what you could do with the PS1 analog controller. Assigning camera controls to the RS was not a thing yet, so AE used them for fun gimmicks. Ape Escape 3, just like AC2, doubles down on them and it all feels a bit weird.

Armored Core came out before analog controllers were a thing, so its control scheme put strafing on the shoulder buttons and look up/down on the triggers. Then the PS2 came out with its twin sticks, but AC2 completely ignored them and doubled down on the control scheme from the PS1.

There's also lots of points where the sticks are repurposed. In the car LS is accelerate and steer and RS is drift. The mecha controls like a Katamari. You need to keep rotating the RS to use the hula hoop, and in the rowboat you rotate both to go straight.

thanks! I'll relay that to c_14 since he's the one who's taking care of stuff, I was just a spectator this time
