This is a young Grey Seal pup which is now independent and is mounting into its more waterproof teenage coat. It’s certainly looking healthy enough to survive the next week or two!

Redwings (pictured) as well as other thrushes such as Fieldfare and Blackbirds are still battling across the North Sea leaving the harsh winter weather of Scandinavia to over-winter in U.K before returning next March.
