Really? How much journalistic experience do you have? "Newspaper companies" got duped. They thought that if they had product online for free, they were covered. It was a disastrous business model. They were handed their asses. And I lost my job. Again, how much journalistic experience do you have?

Great post! You're on the right path. There is power in knowing when to say no. I see all these motivational memes, like "Never quit!" and "Never give up!" Hogwash. The genuine talent is knowing WHEN to quit or give up, to save those energies for something else that may be better.

What journalism needs is a public willing to pay for the srrvices it offers. The Internet ruined that business model. I was a journalist and editor for 45 years. People would rather listen for free to an "influencer's" or comedian's twist on news than pay up for the real thing, delivered straight.

The meme says that once the matrix of disinformation is in place, resistance is not possible. To that, I say NO!!! NOT TRUE!!!

No. Resistance is ALWAYS possible, especially once it reaches critical mass. It will begin to reach critical mass economically beginning this fall, and then the effects of the so-called Big Beautiful Bill will kick in. Then, it'll be Katy bar the door! THE DOLLAR is what moves Americans.
