Wait until they start talking about thorium reactors. That's when you may have to either tap the sign at the front of the bus or just tell them to settle down.

I love it, except for the placement of the plates in front of the books. Books yearn to be free, to tempt you to browse and pick them up without having to worry about moving a big, fragile porcelain plate out of the way just to see them.

If your kids are playing Minecraft on PC's and don't need cross-platform support to play with others who are on Switch or Xbox, you can leave Microsoft entirely behind and just run the Java version from Mojang at www.minecraft.net/en-us/download. It also has a far bigger mod community.

This is a stunning self-inflicted wound by the Westside community, forgoing millions of dollars of infrastructure improvements along Washington and the development of residential and retail around what would have been lively transit hubs. Blue-line-served airport parking, hotels, dining - all gone.

It's true that the roundabouts in Carmel take up more land than traffic lights, and their design prioritizes cars first. The trade-offs are that they have fewer injury crashes and reduced emissions from cars idling at red lights. They should be designed for peds and bikes, like this Dutch one:
