Side note: having mostly run this account, I was also the reason we stopped using this app for ages, and it took me a while to realise the problem wasn't the audience (who are awesome) but the management (who suck harder than I thought possible)

So to conclude, I think, but cannot in any way prove, that there is major fuckery going on here, and there's something going on to mute criticism of this app's policy towards moderation. A fiver to the vagina museum says fuck the mods.

Now, whatever with regards to the initial flagged post. We all know moderation on here is a shitshow with a shit matinee on wednesdays. My main interest is in the quoted one here, with a screen to stop the thumbnail from showing. This screen is specifically critical of the mod policy *here*

Now, at this point, I'm aware that the bsky audience for the VM account on here is basically the same as that on pre-musk twitter. Not just ~similar audiences~ we're talking the literal same people, who all came here.

So this identically worded went on the other microblog sites (twitter, masto/fedi) and performed well. Even with the extra image added to circumvent the adult content flag, it underperformed like fuck on here.
