Completely agree. I've been reading Parliamentary America by Stearns. He advocates for 3 amendments to build a better democracy.

I am more interested in the Day 1 things that can be achieved with the slimmest of majorities. Then, lay the groundwork for a new democracy via constitutional reform.

Your first point is racist. Whether intentional or not, you are saying that black people are not equal and do not deserve equal outcomes.

That's racism.

A better analysis is to perform more pre-selected subset comparisons for a more complete view of a complex topic.

"Because working people have been shunted into defined contribution, self-funded retirement schemes, their futures are wedded to stock market returns in a way that people in similarly wealthy democracies find unimaginable." Inequality in the US is obscene. My thoughts:

If I criticize a government for a wrong, it is also not my responsibility to criticize every government or every wrong. That's just what-aboutism to deflect honest and fair criticism.

My preference is to do the following without amendments:
1 Uncap the House
2 Expand SCOTUS, give each presidential election winner a few nominees to replace the most senior members
3 Statehood for DC and PR

With these 3 things as soon as Dems get to power, the rest can quickly follow.

Can someone explain how to ban Private Equity from buying homes, hospitals, and other assets? What would such a ban look like?

and demolishing the homes of Palestinians.

IMHO, most people who say they are anti-Zionist support Israeli statehood, but they also support the desires of Palestinians to also have a homeland with full human rights.

Is this view consistent with yours?

Thanks for your post. One of the difficult things is how other media and organizations take a precisely defined term, like Zionism and morph its usage. Eventually, over decades, the term loses its original meaning to become something new.

To me today, Zionism means support for settlers...

I asked my MIT undergraduates in a science journalism class what they thought about/how they used AI.

A couple used it for search (with a careful eye out for hallucination). All said that they were very skeptical of using it in any consequential and unchecked/unchechable sequence.

Good.

Who is the editor who approved this headline? They didn't lose the money, they spent it on approved services and mandated retirement savings.
