The utter collapse of The Washington Post and The New York Times is one of the most stunning developments in the history of American journalism.

Is it any wonder why I call it right-wing controlled U.S. media & journalism?

We, the U.S. public let this happen by accepting lies, as fact, & then supporting propaganda, in defense of ppl’s beliefs.

We ended up with a racist, totally unqualified Prez, twice, & with his horrific Cabinet picks.

Way past time…

But millions are convinced by right wing media that having 400M+ guns in the U.S. won’t have horrible consequences, if a very small pct of the country has mental issues or decides to be antisocial & take lives.

Ending healthcare subsidies for healthcare & measles epidemics are just two of the myriad of ways the GOP directly harm Americans & they are proud of it.

It’s a start to see anyone in the GOP stand on principle. They didn’t do it on impeachments, the constant lying about 2020 election, the myriad of awful cabinet appt’s, Epstein affair, mass deportation, & killing civilians at sea.

DJT/MAGA literally tried to make Indiana a 9-0 GOP state, effectively denying ANY voice for the ~40% of the state that votes Dem, including larger cities like Indy & Gary.

Only in US GOP American media would this be waved off as “just politics” & not as totally, & irreparably, anti-democratic!

At least a few of them are self-aware enough to know that this Admin & most MAGAs are breaking laws, by the day.

The SCOTUS must be fixed by expanding it & placing term limits on the 6 GOP hacks that live, within.

Then the DOJ/FBI need to be cleaned out & let the REAL prosecutions begin.

This pot has been slowly boiling for 30 yrs with the advent of the propaganda, & disinformation, of Fox, & more, with the heat turned up to a boil in the last 10 yrs with DJT exploiting societal divisions, thru racism & misogyny.

The media failed us, the GOP are owned by the 1%, & Dems failed, too!

The defining pinnacle of this Admin is they all LIE about everything, for self-promotion or to prevent accountability.

It makes no difference the subject—- economy, immigration, healthcare, Ukraine, foreign policy, gov’t services, agencies, or anything else.

They lead with lies & follow with more.

Too many establishment Dems always thought that MAGA & Freedom Caucus were just crazy & not real threats to tear down democracy. They were wrong!
There was nothing gained by going “easy” on the GOP/MAGA. MAGA reaction was to be even more extreme, partisan, & cheat thru mid-decade gerrymandering.

Besides John Roberts & the partisan hack GOP SCOTUS, who granted a 34X convicted felon full immunity & the ability to run in 2024, you can also thank:

-US media for abdicating their role, over decades

-US voters for continually being conned by the GOP, MAGA, & DJT while voting for them repeatedly…

It’s not brainwashing. Dems have 3 big issues:

-Nobody in GOP to work with. Bipartisanship is DEAD!

-Failure to understand how ruthless the GOP is…
Obstruction, cheating (gerrymandering) & stealing SCOTUS.
