You know what you can do instead of going to LPSC? Join your local ICE watch. Run a space- or planetary-themed event at your local library. Form a local node of planetary scientists to support each other. Turn towards your community, rather than away from it.

Also hilarious that you have to pay money to submit abstracts now. Yeah lemme go ahead and pay $65 just to have the chance to pay upwards of $600 to attend a conference that actively refuses to support me and people like me. Hell yeah
