I do think red- tailed hawks are a sign of divinity. Every time I see one I say “Hi Mama” because I know it’s her checking in. She used to entertain my children when they were young, counting the red-tailed hawks posted up on the interstate as we’d drive between Oregon & Washington.

We did take him back and it was an amazing trip. Hopefully again someday soon.
